Something cool happened to me! I was a finalist on a TV show called “Cupcake Championship” (Season 1, “Christmas in July” episode) on the Food Network! I still can’t believe it! This experience is one I will never forget and treasure for many years to come. Being in the company of 3 other very talented bakers from all over the country, baking in an unfamiliar kitchen, not to mention the added pressure of what felt like a hundred cameras in my face… was the craziest, scariest, FUNNEST experience ever! What still gets me is that what started out as a hobby in my tiny apartment kitchen many years ago has then brought me to this amazing opportunity. It just goes to show that if you do something you’re passionate about, mix that with a lot of hard work and perseverance— you will end up surprising yourself! I’m a living example that DREAMS DO COME TRUE!
